David Mills-Low | Artistic Director
David Mills-Low is a writer, actor, director, sound designer based in Missoula, Montana. He is excited to be returning to the Opera House for his 9th season. David spent 6 years touring the Northwest with the Vigilante Theatre Company. Since moving back to Missoula in 2006, David has been constantly involved in the theatre scene there, racking up over 25 shows during the fall, winter, and spring. Notable productions include The Dirty Old Lady Show, The Goat, The Pillowman, Stones in His Pocket, Bang the Drum Slowly, One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest, The Sunshine Boys, The Dumbwaiter, and Fully Committed, Wonder of the World, as well as many others in which he variously acted, directed and produced. The past three seasons he appeared in Garden City Ballet’s The Nutcracker as Drosselmeyer, Clara’s Father, and Mother Ginger. David wrapped his first feature film this year, Subteranea, which is now making the festival rounds, as well as a number of student and thesis films. He also recorded Jay Kettering’s The Church of Pancakes for Montana Public Radio which, along with How I Learned to Tell Time are available on prx.org. David picks up occasional work casting and wrangling extras for Firewater Film Company. David would like to thank you for supporting live theatre in general, this theatre in particular.
