David Mills-Low | Artistic Director
David Mills-Low is a writer, actor, director, sound designer, and podcaster based in Missoula, Montana. He is excited to be returning to the Opera House for his 6th season, 5th as resident playwright, and first as Artistic Director. David spent 6 years touring the Northwest with the Vigilante Theatre Company. Since moving back to Missoula in 2006, David has been constantly involved in the theatre scene there, racking up over 25 shows during the fall, winter, and spring. Notable productions include The Goat, The Pillowman, Stones in His Pocket, Bang the Drum Slowly, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, The Sunshine Boys, The Dumbwaiter, and Fully Committed. David has also appeared in a number of student films, recorded Jay Kettering's How I Learned to Tell Time for Montana Public Radio, and picks up occasional work casting and wrangling extras for Firewater Film Company. In addition, David's Podcast, Waiting for a Train, has been downloaded over 10,000 times in over 25 countries. This past summer David had the opportunity to perform a live version of his podcast as an opening act for Reggie Watts, who was hot off Conan O'Brien's comedy tour and the recording of his Comedy Central Special.
